Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers -- but you have to know -- the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools -- keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What living author or authors would you like to have dinner with? (Try to think beyond JK Rowling):
J.K. Rowling (She has to make my list sorry).
Diana Gabaldon because she created the joy that is Jaime Fraser in her Outlander series.
George R.R. Martin - Because he created Westeros.
Alexander McCall Smith- I love his No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series set in Botswana
and Janet Evanovich because she's a hoot :)

I haven't read the books of others yet, but I love JK Rowling. I'm thinking of re-reading Harry Potter again haha! :D

I'm planning to re-read the series soon too :)
DeleteThis sounds fun. I don't think I could answer it every week. I will try to work on a post this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI don't do the meme every week, For me it all depends on the topic but it is fun :) I do hope you join in!
DeleteFinally, a George R.R. Martin fan! Well, I'd be a nervous wreck if I'll have him for dinner.

LOL I know right? I do hope it wouldn't be any thing like the Red or Purple Weddings.
DeleteGreat choices. I picked Shelly Laurenston.

Diane @ Diane's Book Blog
I've seen some interviews with Shelly on blogs and she sounds hilarious.
DeleteSuch different choices than everyone else!
ReplyDeleteI have only heard of George R. R. Martin off of your list (JK Rowling doesn't count) and I've just barely started listening to A Game of Thrones and his writing is beautiful :)
Great choices

Wait until you get further into the books the man is a genius.
DeleteI also picked GRRM! I need to find out what happens to my favorite characters. The way that A Dance with Dragons ended I'm very nervous for a few of them!
ReplyDeleteHappy FF! Old GFC and New Twitter follower!
